The Greater Greenville Master Gardener Asociation of South Carolina is pleased to announce the following grants awarded to four community educational projects. The awards ceremony took place at Roper Mountain Science Center on Thursday, September 16, 2010.

North Main Community Association. A project to label native plants in North Main Rotary Park.

Odessa Street Community Garden. A planned raised-bed community garden with a combination of vegetables, herbs and fruit trees.

GOFO Health and Education, Inc. Support of the Grow Healthy Kids school garden program in 11 participating elementary schools.

Legacy Charter School. (A Title I, free, public charter school serving urban students.) A project to create container gardens at six temporary classroom "cabins".
